Eligibility Criteria:

  • ETA-Eligible Passport: The applicant must hold a passport from a country or region that is eligible for the ETA.

  • Genuine Temporary Visit: The applicant must genuinely intend to visit Australia temporarily, either:

  • As a tourist

  • To engage in business visitor activities (such as meetings or conferences)

  • Public Interest Criteria: The applicant must satisfy several public interest requirements, including health, character, and security checks.

  • Duration: The Subclass 601 Visa allows multiple entries to Australia for up to 12 months from the date of grant. Each stay is limited to 3 months.

  • No Secondary Criteria: All primary criteria must be met; there are no secondary criteria.

    • No work rights (unless part of a business visitor activity)

Subclass 651 - eVisitor Visa
